Aneet Padda is headlining the next film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Titled ,the Aditya Sarpotdar directorial is scheduled to release on December 24. The cast is in the middle of the shoot and the film is expected to wrap soon.
On Sunday night, Aneet was clicked shooting for a key scene for the horror comedy. She is currently filming in Mumbai. Further details about the characters of the film and plot are kept under wraps. Aneet’s fans were excited to see her first look from Shakti Shalini.
Aneet Padda’s leaked video from Shakti Shalini set
In the viral clip, Aneet could be seen dragging a man by his foot before whacking him. Dressed in an ethnic skirt and blouse, it seems her character is under a supernatural force’s possession. Since the video that leaked was shot from a distance, her look isn’t clear.
Nana Patekar on Shakti Shalini set
Last week, was spotted by Zoom’s lens on Shakti Shalini’s set in Mumbai. In the pictures, the veteran actor was seen wearing a black dhoti and an angavastram. His look also included a red-coloured turban. Wearing a religious thread and a spiritual amulet, Patekar had ash smeared on his forehead. Shakti Shalini went on floors earlier this year, after Aneet completed her exams. The team wrapped up a schedule in Madhya Pradesh before returning to Mumbai.
About Shakti Shalini
Viineet Kumar Singh is cast as the antagonist in Shakti Shalini, while Vishal Jethwa also plays a significant role alongside Aneet. According to reports, the film is in its last stage. If unconfirmed speculations are to be believed, Shakti Shalini will be skipping its December 2026 release. Averting a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated action thriller King, the mythological supernatural drama is expected to lock in an early January 2027 release. There’s no official confirmation yet.
Who is Aneet Padda
Aneet shot to overnight fame with Saiyaara. Her first film was Salaam Venky. In the Revathi-directorial, Aneet played the supporting role of Nandini. Her co-stars were Kajol, Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose and Aahana Kumra. The 24-year-old did a courtroom drama before Saiyaara, and it is expected to release soon.

After Aneet’s film, Varun Dhawan will return with Bhediya 2. The other upcoming titles are Chamunda, Chhoti Stree, Stree 3, Maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh and Doosra Mahayudh.
