Shahid Kapoor Farzi 2: Shahid Kapoor is going back to the of Farzi. The new season is now moving ahead, and Shahid has said it is almost ready. In his Instagram AMA, a fan asked him, “What about Farzi 2?” He replied, “It is a work in progress. We are almost done. I think it should be out next year.” Reports from February 2026 also said he confirmed the second season with the line “The fakers are back at it.”
The show had already gone back on set earlier in 2026. Shahid shared a black-and-white photo with Raj & DK and wrote, “Farzi 2 day 1… back at it!!!” Times of India later reported that filming for the second season had officially begun, and Shahid was back as Sunny. In that same update, the set photos also pointed to Vijay Sethupathi returning as officer Michael.
What Farzi is About?
Farzi first came out on Amazon Prime Video on 10 February 2023. The Prime Video page says the story is about Sunny, a small-time artist who gets pulled into the fake-currency world after making the perfect counterfeit note. It also sets him against Michael, a tough task force officer. The series is made by Raj & DK.
