Shiv Sena (UBT) has demanded the removal of Bangladeshi cricketer from KKR due to violence on minorities in Bangladesh. He asked Shahrukh Khan to remove the player.
Mumbai: KKR owner and Bollywood icon Shahrukh Khan should immediately remove Bangladeshi cricketer (Mustafizur Rahman) from his team. This demand was made by Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey. Many have opined that Bangladeshi fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, who was bought by KKR for a huge price of Rs 9.20 crore, should not be a part of the KOIPL. These statements have come after repeated violent incidents against religious minorities in Bangladesh.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Dubey said- Bangladeshi players should not be allowed to play on Indian soil in IPL. Pakistani and Bangladeshi players should be banned. They have hatred towards us for killing our Hindu brothers and sisters. Shahrukh Khan should immediately remove that Bangladeshi cricketer from his team. If he does not do this even after all this uproar, it will be proved that he lives in this country and earns money here, but does not understand the sentiments of this country.
Recently, Congress and Karnataka minister Priyank Kharge shared a post in which they criticized the BJP’s views on the inclusion of a Bangladeshi player in the IPL. He said that foreign players participate in the tournament because BCCI or IPL allows them to do so. The question that should be asked to BJP leaders is that when Bangladeshi players should be banned from the tournament, then why is BCCI allowing them to participate in the IPL.
He said- “BJP and their “Vichar Parivar” are angry over the inclusion of a Bangladeshi player in the IPL. If a foreign player is in the IPL, it is because the BCCI or the IPL rules allow him to do so. Instead of blaming the franchises, shouldn’t BJP leaders ask why the BCCI is allowing them to take part in the IPL when Bangladeshi players should be banned?
