Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly be pulling the breaks on the shoot of his upcoming film ‘King’ owing to an injury, the latest reports suggest.
The actor, who has been busy shooting for the upcoming action flick, reportedly sustained an injury during the shoot of an intense action sequence at the film Studio in Mumbai, states a report on Bollywood Hungama. Khan, who has been shooting the film with his daughter and co-star Suhana Khan , reportedly sustained a muscular injury. While it is not said to be ‘serious’, it required urgent medical attention. The report adds, “It’s believed to be a strain from performing a high-octane stunt.”
The injury has reportedly sent the actor to the United States along with his team to seek the necessary treatment. Doctors have reportedly advised him to rest for at least one month, forcing a temporary halt in the film’s production schedule.
Shooting Schedule DelayedFollowing the injury, all filming for King scheduled between July and August has been suspended. The next schedule is now expected to begin in September or October, once Shah Rukh is fully recovered and ready to return to set.
Meanwhile, other reports stated that the team is going on a break, with the next leg of the shoot scheduled to pick up in September.
