This festival gives freedom from sin
According to Islamic scholars, Shab-e-Barat means night of salvation. This is considered to be the night in which Allah sends his angels to the sky of the world for the people who want freedom from sins. On this day, doors are opened for such people to pray for deliverance from hell. On this festival, special prayers are performed during the third part of the night. It is believed that at this time one receives the blessings of Allah. On this day, mosques are vibrant. Halwa is distributed especially on this festival.
