Actor Shaan R Grover has fondly recalled the time he spent with his Tum Mere Ho co-star Isha Malviya in Thailand, sharing how the two developed a close friendship while filming the project. He also praised Isha for managing television, reality shows and content creation alongside her other professional commitments.
Talking about their bond, Shaan said their friendship grew unexpectedly, with the two spending time partying, exploring local markets and walking streets, shooting Reels and sampling local food during their days off in Thailand.
“Isha and I also became really close friends, which I never would have imagined initially. We chilled and partied together a lot in Thailand. On our days off, we’d hit the walking streets and markets, shoot Reels, grab smoothies, and eat local ramen,” Shaan said.
Expressing admiration for his co-star, he added that Isha’s ability to balance television, reality shows and content creation at a young age was commendable.
“I’m a big fan and have learned a lot from her as a friend,” he said.
Shaan also credited producer Gurmeet Bhai for helping make the Thailand experience memorable, appreciating the supportive environment on the project.
“It’s so rare to get to explore a country like Thailand with such a supportive team, and a huge thanks goes to Gurmeet Bhai for accompanying us as a producer and making sure we all had a great time,” he added.
Shaan R Grover Opens Up About Shoulder Injury During Action Scenes
Recalling his experience on the sets of Tum Mere Ho, Shaan also spoke about an unexpected setback during the filming of an action sequence involving his previously injured left shoulder.
The actor revealed that he had suffered a ligament tear in the shoulder in 2018 or 2019 while training in martial arts and gymnastics. Although the injury had largely healed, he continued to remain cautious about putting it under strain.
Shaan said he had not performed intense action sequences for a long time and did not expect the old injury to trouble him during the first take.
“I heard a pop, felt it give out, and realized right away that we had a problem,” he recalled.
The shoot was briefly paused so that he could take painkillers. Fortunately, the situation settled down, allowing the team to resume filming and complete the action scenes.
Despite the unexpected incident, Shaan said the team managed to pull off some impressive action sequences, which he is eager for audiences to see.
Tum Mere Ho is scheduled to release in theatres on October 23, 2026.
