Uttar Pradesh Rain Deaths: 10 people killed in 24 hours due to rain and lightning in UP. Accidents in Jaunpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Amethi and Sultanpur issued a warning.
The weather mood in Uttar Pradesh suddenly deteriorated on Tuesday night and Wednesday. In many districts, life was disturbed due to heavy rains and lightning. The anniversary of the sky not only damaged crops and houses, but also killed people. According to reports from different districts, according to Amar Ujala’s report, 10 people have died in the last 24 hours, while 13 people have been severely scorched.
Most of the lives were lost in Jaunpur
In Jaunpur district, lightning incidents gave the most tragedy. In Sultanpur Gaur village, Kishan (15) and Atul (13), standing under a tree, died on the spot to avoid rain. At the same time, farmers Bahadur Gautam (50) were hit by electricity while putting fertilizer in the field in Nonari Bhukudha village. A total of three deaths have been registered in the district.

Matami silence in Sonbhadra and Mirzapur
Anshika (13) died due to lightning in Kachan village of Myorpur police station area of Sonbhadra. At the same time, Urmila (45), who was returning home with wood near Sukhra Dam in Halia area of Mirzapur, also got hit by electricity. Apart from this, five people were scorched in Ahugi Kala village and were admitted to the hospital.
Three deaths in Prayagraj
Three people lost their lives due to lightning in different areas of Prayagraj district. Mahesh alias Bablu (20), who went to graze goats in Nevadia of Koraon tehsil, Abhishek Patel (16) in Karchana area and cattleman Phoolchandra Pal (62) of Bhaiya village of Meja police station area were killed.
Accidents in Amethi and Sultanpur
In the Awadh region, the rain broke as a havoc. Mangroo (59) died after being buried in debris due to falling wall during rains in Kadipur Khurd village in Sultanpur district. While playing three -year -old Divyansh on Wednesday morning in Inderia village of Amethi district, suddenly fell into the debris of a raw wall that fell and died.
Meteorological Department Warning
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning saying that in the coming days, there will be a possibility of heavy rains and lightning in many parts of UP. People have been appealed not to stand under open grounds, trees or electric poles during the rains and take shelter in a safe place.
