In Muzaffarnagar, two sisters, fed up with discrimination, murdered their father by slitting his throat. He made the family sleep by giving them sleeping pills and then committed the crime. The police have arrested both of them.
Muzaffarnagar: A surprising incident has come to light from a village in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. Here two real sisters murdered their own father by slitting his throat. The only reason was that the father used to discriminate a lot between his sons and daughters and constantly taunted the daughters. Fed up with this daily discrimination and taunts, the daughters took this dreadful step. Even today, in many families, boys are given more importance, while girls are considered someone else’s property. Something similar was happening in this family also. The father considered his son to be the ‘light of the family’, but his behavior with his daughters was not good. Due to this, the daughters were suffocating from within and ultimately they ended their father’s life.
Made the family sleep by mixing sleeping pills in the food and then murdered the father.
According to the police, these two sisters, aged 16 and 32, murdered their 60-year-old farmer father. The father was sleeping at home when he was attacked. Both the sisters were plotting to kill their father for the last few days. On Sunday night, he mixed sleeping pills in the food and gave it to his mother and other family members. When everyone fell into deep sleep, the younger daughter held her father’s feet tightly and the elder daughter slit his throat with a kitchen knife.
When the family members woke up on Monday morning, they found their father’s body soaked in blood. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem. The police started investigation and within just two hours took both the daughters into custody for questioning. During interrogation, both of them confessed their crime.
Both the sisters were unhappy with their father’s behaviour.
In this matter, a case has been registered at Bhopa Police Station under Section 103 (Murder) of BNS. Both the accused sisters were arrested and presented in the court, from where they have been sent to judicial custody. During interrogation, both the sisters told that they were very unhappy with their father’s behaviour. Rural SP Aditya Bansal said that fathers often taunted and abused their daughters on the grounds that they were sitting at home, not married and not doing any work. SP Bansal said, “Police have recovered two leaves of sleeping pills and the knife used in the murder.” He also told that the elder daughter had hidden the blood stained clothes she was wearing at the time of the incident in a pile of fodder, which the police found.
