Bijas are considered beneficial for health. They are superfoods. Eating seeds daily is a great way to stay healthy, because they are rich in nutrients. Some people like to eat raw seeds or like to eat and eat.
But every seed has a different way to eat. Dietician Shivani Kandwal has explained how to eat different seeds to get more benefits.
1) Pumpkin seeds- You can eat these seeds raw or eat lightly and eat it. Eat this seed rich in zinc and protein after lunch.
2) Aliiva or Haleem Seeds- Soak it in water. Then grind and eat it mixed with ghee or coconut oil. It is good for hormones and hair.
3) Chia Seeds- Soak Chia seeds rich in fiber and omega 3 in water for 30 minutes. Then drink it mixed with smoothie or lemonade. Most people eat these seeds to lose weight.
4) Sabza Seeds- Soak these bhejs for 10 to 15 minutes. Then mix it in water and eat it. It helps to calm the blotting.
5) Sesame seeds- These seeds are rich in calcium. Roast the seeds to eat these seeds and then grind it. Now eat it with jaggery or mixed with chutney.
6) Linseed seeds- Linseed seeds are rich in antioxidants. You can eat these seeds that balance the hormone mixed with curd, smoothie or flour.
