Mukhtar Ansari died of a heart attack in Banda jail a few months ago, while Omar’s mother Afsha Ansari is currently absconding. His absence from the wedding was an emotional moment for the family.
Elder brother Abbas Ansari took over all the responsibilities
The entire responsibility of the marriage was handled by Umar’s elder brother and MLA Abbas Ansari and sister-in-law Nikhat Ansari. Umar was recently released from Kasganj jail on 30 October. He was accused of getting his mother’s signature forged, due to which he was arrested from Lucknow on August 3. Later he got bail from Allahabad High Court.
Who is Fatima, the new daughter-in-law of Ansari family?
Umar Ansari is married to Fatima. Fatima is a resident of Muhammadabad town of Ghazipur and is said to be the granddaughter of Malik Mian, a well-known businessman of the area. According to sources, Umar and Fatima already knew each other and the relationship was finalized with the consent of the families. Many family members including former MLA Sibgatullah Ansari, Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari attended the marriage.
