It took Narendra Modi and Vladimir Putin just 15 minutes to go by car to a place to talk to the SCO summit site. Even after reaching the venue, the two leaders did not get out of the car and kept talking for the next 45 minutes.
According to a report from the Russian National Radio Station Vestifm, “The two leaders continued to talk on the way to the hotel. The members of their teams were to meet them in the hotel. On reaching the hotel, they did not get out of the Limose of the Russian President and continued the conversation.”

During the bilateral meeting, the two leaders talked about raising partnerships between India and Russia and exchanged views on global issues such as Ukraine War. Reiterating the long -standing friendship between New Delhi and Moscow, Modi said, “India and Russia have always stood shoulder to shoulder even in the most difficult conditions. Our close cooperation is important not only for the people of both countries, but also for global peace, stability and prosperity.”

Significantly, there was a conversation between Putin and Modi when India is facing pressure and tariff from the US to buy Russian oil. Apart from 25 percent of tariffs, US President Donald Trump has also imposed a fine of 25 percent on India for purchasing oil from Russia. The total tariff has increased to 50%.
