India Block Vice President Candidate: India alliance has announced its candidate for the Vice Presidential election. The opposition coalition made former Supreme Court Judge B.K. Sudarshan Reddy has been elected his candidate. His competition is NDA candidate C.P. Will be from Radhakrishnan. Announcing the decision, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that all parties have been unanimous in the name of Sudarshan Reddy.

Who is B. Sudarshan Reddy?
B. Sudarshan Reddy was registered as an advocate in the Andhra Pradesh Bar Council in Hyderabad in 1971. He practiced in writ and civil matters in the Andhra Pradesh High Court and worked as a government lawyer in the Supreme Court during 1988–1990. In 1990, he also served as an additional permanent lawyer of the central government for six months. In addition, he has also worked as a legal advisor for Osmania University. He was appointed as a permanent judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on 2 May 1995 and was later also the Chief Justice of the Guwahati High Court.
