SBI user pay attention! Will not be able to make online payment tomorrow, this is the reason

State Bank of India has announced that its internet banking, YONO light and all the services related to it will remain closed tomorrow i.e. September 7, 2025. The bank said that these services will be temporarily closed due to the prescribed maintenance from 1:20 am to 2:20 pm Indian time. During this time, UPI lights and ATM services will be operational. SBI has advised its customers to make their online transaction plan to avoid any inconvenience.

State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a notification to its customers. In which the bank informed that internet banking, retail, traders, yono lights, CINB, Yono Business Web and Mobile App and Vono services will be affected due to maintenance.

At what time will the service be closed

SBI has stated that its internet banking, Yono lights and other services will remain closed on September 7, 2025 between 1:20 am and 2:20 pm due to the prescribed maintenance of about one hour. However, UPI lights and ATM services will be available during this period. According to the SBI website, UPI lights and ATM services will be available during this period.

What is UPI Light?

According to the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) website, UPI Light is a payment solution, which is designed to pay a transaction of less than Rs 1,000 in a fast and pin-interest manner.

UPI light limit

The limit of UPI light is a maximum of Rs 1,000. Along with this, the commulative use is Rs 10,000 every day. Also, the maximum balance limit can be provided at any time in UPI LITE account is Rs 5000.

Green Pin- Use the pin generation menu to create a new pin for your card.

Pin Change- SBI customers can use this service to change the pin of their card at regular intervals.

Balance Inquiry- SBI customers can use this service to check the balance available in their account at a real time. They can also choose the ‘Go Green’ option by choosing the view option as soon as they see the balance on the screen.

Mini statement- The mini statement provides information about the last 10 transactions in their account to the customers.

Credit Card Payment (Visa)- Customers can use this service to pay any visa credit card bill.
