Companies increased market cap
The rally has been seen in the Indian stock market last week. Its direct impact was also seen on the top companies of Sensex. Last week, the market cap of seven out of the top 10 most valuable companies in the Sensex increased by Rs 1,18,328.29 crore. State Bank of India (SBI) and Bharti Airtel got the most benefit.
Last week, the BSE Sensex was 721.53 points or 0.88%. During this period, the market value of Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, SBI, Infosys and LIC increased, while ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance and Hindustan Unilever value declined.
Value has increased so much
- SBI’s market value increased by Rs 35,953.25 crore to Rs 7,95,910 crore.
- Bharti Airtel’s value increased by Rs 33,214.77 crore to Rs 11,18,952.64 crore.
- Reliance Industries value increased by Rs 17,389.23 crore to Rs 19,04,898.51 crore
- At the same time, TCS increased by Rs 12,952.75 crore to Rs 11,46,879.47 crore.
- LIC’s market value increased by Rs 12,460.25 crore to Rs 5,65,612.92 crore.
- Infosys increased by Rs 6,127.73 crore to Rs 6,39,901.03 crore.
- HDFC Bank’s value increased by Rs 230.31 crore to Rs 14,84,816.26 crore.
Loss to these companies
- At the same time, the market value of ICICI Bank declined by Rs 10,707.87 crore to Rs 10,01,654.46 crore.
- Bajaj Finance declined by Rs 6,346.93 crore to Rs 6,17,892.72 crore.
- The Hindustan Unilever declined by Rs 5,039.87 crore to Rs 6,01,225.16 crore.
Reliance Industries stood first in the list of top 10 companies, followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, SBI, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever and LIC.
How was the market
Last week, the stock market had seen a boom. In a week, BSE’s major index Sensex climbed 729.62 points to close at 82,626.23. However, there was a decline in the Sensex during the last trading day. The Sensex has fallen by 387.73 points on Friday. But overall, the market increased in a week and due to this, 7 out of 10 companies gained momentum.
