Lord Shiva should not offer coconut. This is because coconut is considered to be the form of Goddess Lakshmi and Goddess Lakshmi is the wife of Lord Vishnu. In such a situation, it is understood to offer coconut on Shivling that you are handing over Goddess Lakshmi to Lord Shiva. Do not forget such a mistake.
banana
Lord Shiva should not offer banana. According to some mythology, the banana tree was born from the curse of a Brahmin due to the anger of Lord Shiva, so it should not be offered to Shiva. While some people are related to banana with Goddess Lakshmi and Vishnu, it is not appropriate to offer it to Shivling.
Pomegranate
Lord Shiva should not offer pomegranate. According to some religious beliefs, plating the pomegranate directly to the Shivling is not considered auspicious. But on the contrary, it is considered auspicious to anoint Shivling with pomegranate juice. It is believed that by doing this, there is happiness and peace in the house with the grace of Lord Shiva.
Jamun
