Saubhagya Sundari Teej 2025 date and time

Saubhagya Sundari Teej fast is celebrated every year on the Tritiya of Krishna Paksha of Margashirsha or Agahan month. This year this date is falling on November 8, 2025. Margashirsha Krishna Paksha Tritiya will start at 11:05 am on November 7, 2025 and will continue till 7:32 am on November 8, 2025. As per Udaya Tithi, Saubhagya Sundari Vrat and Puja will be performed on 8th November.

Saubhagya Sundari Teej 2025 Puja Method

  • Women observing Saubhagya Sundari Teej fast should wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. Wear only red, green, yellow or pink clothes on this day. Avoid wearing black, white or brown colored clothes.
  • Clean the place of worship. Install a platform in the north-east corner and spread a red cloth on it. Install the idol or picture of Goddess Gauri and Lord Shiva on the platform and worship them.
  • Apply kumkum to Goddess Parvati and offer flowers, fruits and other things to her. After this, worship Lord Shiva and light incense sticks.
  • After this, women should read or listen to Saubhagya Sundari Teej Vrat Katha. Aarti should be performed at the end. By observing this fast, love remains in married life with the grace of Shiva and Parvati.
