Rajesh, who played the role of Rochesh Sarabhai in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, revealed that Satish died of a heart attack. He said, ‘I can’t tell you how emotional the last 24-25 hours have been for all of us. It is difficult to explain, but I want to clarify some things about Satish ji’s demise. Yes, he had kidney problems, but he actually died of a heart attack. He was at home, having lunch and then suddenly he passed away. I wanted to clarify this because some reports are saying that he died due to kidney problem. The kidney problem had already been treated. Everything was under control. Unfortunately, he died suddenly due to a heart attack.

Satish’s manager Ramesh Kadatala had earlier revealed that Satish had suddenly fainted while eating lunch in the afternoon. He said it took half an hour for the ambulance to reach Satish’s house and by the time he was taken to the hospital, he was declared dead. His last rites were performed at a cremation ground in Bandra, which was attended by Farah Khan, Johnny Lever, Suresh Oberoi and many other Bollywood celebs. While biding farewell to Satish, Rupali Ganguly, Sumeet Raghavan and Rajesh Kumar were seen crying bitterly.
