- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered Satara SP to suspend the accused sub-inspector. The CM said that action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this case. No one will be left out.
- Maharashtra government minister and veteran leader of the state Pankaja Munde also expressed grief over this incident and bluntly said that there should be no media trial in this matter, the investigation should be conducted impartially and on forensic basis.
