According to Nora Fatehi, she had shot this song in Kannada language about three years ago and she had no idea how it would be changed later. Nora said, “I shot this song in Kannada three years ago. I said yes to it because it was part of a big film and Sanjay Dutt was also in it. I thought this song was a remake of ‘Nayak Nahi Khalnayak Hoon Main’.”

My approval was not taken for the Hindi version.

Nora Fatehi further said that when the song was translated, she did not find anything wrong in it because she does not know Kannada language. She said, “I was trusting the team. But later when it was dubbed in Hindi and its lyrics were changed, neither my permission nor my approval was taken for this. I had no knowledge about it.”
