Sources close to the production reveal that she will undergo an extensive physical transformation to bring Madhubala’s grace and persona to the screen, from look tests and costume detailing to dialect training. The film is being envisioned as an emotionally intense drama.

Jasmeet K Reen is planning the film as an intense drama that will explore both the success and emotional struggles of Madhubala’s life, creating a deeply moving tribute to the iconic actress whose story continues to fascinate generations.

Madhubala, often called the Venus of Indian Cinema, appeared in over 70 films during a two-decade-long career in the 1950s and 1960s, and remains one of the most beloved figures in the history of Bollywood. Her personal life, her relationship with Dilip Kumar, and her untimely passing at the age of 36 have long made her story ripe for a biographical retelling of this scale.
