Chennai: Popular Tamil actor Santhanam’s much-anticipated film, tentatively titled ‘#Santa20’, has officially wrapped up its shooting schedule.
The time-loop thriller, directed by Sudhaman Krishna, completed its principal photography, with producers announcing the news and building anticipation for the first look poster, slated for release tomorrow at 5:30 PM.
K7 Studios, one of the production houses behind the project, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse to mark the wrap-up, stating that while filming has concluded, a new timeline for the film’s journey is about to unfold. The project, which marks Santhanam’s 20th film, has been generating buzz since its launch earlier this year. Santhanam himself had shared a video clip of the launch function in March, expressing his enthusiasm for the ‘interesting Time loop based thriller’ and seeking blessings from his fans.
Actress Gopika Ramesh stars opposite Santhanam in the lead role. The film boasts a strong supporting cast, including comedians Jenson Diwakar, Redin Kingsley, George Marian, Pradeep Antony, TSR, and Fouziee, who are expected to bring their unique flair to pivotal roles. Director Sudhaman Krishna has also penned the story for the film, ensuring a cohesive vision.
Behind the camera, a talented technical crew has been assembled. Nivas K Prasanna is composing the music, promising an engaging score. Richard M Nathan, a highly regarded cinematographer, is handling the camera work, while Priya Ravi is responsible for costume design. Dhilip Subbarayan is choreographing the stunts, and National Award-winning editor Praveen K L is overseeing the editing. Produced by K J Ganesh and Vijay K Celliah, with Karthick Anandakrishnan as the executive producer, ‘#Santa20’ is set to be a significant release for Santhanam and Tamil cinema enthusiasts.
