According to the Panchang, the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month will start at 3.37 pm on September 10 and it will conclude at 12.45 pm on September 11, the next day. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, the fast of Chaturthi will be kept on Wednesday on 10 September.
Moonlight
The worship of the moon has special significance in the fast of Sankashti Chaturthi. On this day, after listening to the fast story and worshiping Lord Ganesha, Chandra Dev is seen at night. On 10 September 2025, the time of moonrise will be at 8.10 pm. The fast will be passed only after the lunar darshan.
Worship method of Sankashti Chaturthi
Clean the temple or worship place of the house in the morning on the fast and install a statue or picture of Ganesha. Resolve the fast and pray to Ganesha to fulfill his wish. Install the Kalash at the place of worship and fill Ganga water in it. Light a lamp and incense sticks in front of Ganesh ji. Before, call Ganesh ji and bathe with pure water.
