When to celebrate Ganadheep Sankashti Chaturthi in November 2025?

According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Agahan month will start from 07:32 AM on Saturday, November 08 and will continue till 04:25 AM on Sunday, November 9. Since the moon of Chaturthi Tithi will rise on Saturday, November 8, the fast of Ganadheep Sankashti Chaturthi will be observed on the same day.

8 November 2025 Ganadheep Sankashti Chaturthi auspicious time

On Saturday, November 8, the moon will rise at 7:59 pm. Before this, worship Lord Shri Ganesha and when the moon rises, worship it also.

Perform Ganadheep Sankashti Chaturthi fast and worship with this method

– On the morning of 8th November, Saturday, after taking bath etc., take water, rice and flowers in your hand and take a resolution of fasting and worship.
– Follow the rules of fasting throughout the day as per your resolution. Do not gossip about anyone and do not get angry at anyone.
– In the auspicious time in the evening, install the idol of Lord Shri Ganesha on a wooden plate in a clean place in the house.
– First of all, apply tilak with kumkum on the idol of Lord Shri Ganesh, garland it with flowers and light a lamp of pure ghee.
– Offer things like Abir, Gulal, Kumkum, rice, perfume, betel nut, sacred thread, Durva, Paan, turmeric, Kumkum etc. one by one.
– While offering these things to Lord Ganesha, keep chanting the mantra Om Gan Ganpatayai Namah. Offer your wish to God.
– After worshiping as per the rituals, do Aarti of Lord Ganesha along with the family first with lamp and then with camphor.
– When the moon rises, worship it with flowers, rice and kumkum. Complete the fast by eating Prasad and then have food.
– The person who worships Lord Shri Ganesha with true heart and devotion, his every wish is fulfilled.
