Why did this service start?
Senior Nursing Officer Kanishka Yadav in AIIMS conversation with TV9 It is said that this service has been started for the patients of cancer who are in the treatment process and are likely to be cured, but are financially weak. With this help, free cancer medicines are provided to the patients at OPD level. There is a complete process for this.
The doctors of the oncology department at Safdarjung Hospital are involved in this. It is seen that which patient can be cured and which medicines are not getting him. Medicines are given to patients by identifying it and preparing medical records.

Kanishka Yadav says that these medicines are given to them only when the government is not available from hospitals and the patient is unable to take from private sources. There is a complete medical and social team behind this service that ensures that the help reaches only the needy.
