Strong preparations are going on for victory
For SFH 28, Sangram is training under two of his most trusted coaches, Bhupesh Kumar and his team, who have played a vital role in deepening his MMA game. The team has worked extensively with Sangram on sharpening his transitions, ground control, striking combinations and fight-specific conditioning to prepare him for the physical demands of a top international opponent.
Sangram said, “MMA is a sport that requires constant development. You can’t rest on your past achievements. Every single day in the practice ring and gym with coach Bhupesh Kumar and the team pushes me to a new level. They have helped me understand MMA at a much deeper level, such as tactical nuances, energy management inside the cage and the psychological game. I am coming into SFH 28 in my most prepared form.”
Young enthusiasm is in front: experience vs youth
Sangram’s opponent at SFH 28 is France’s Matteo Monteiro, a young and passionate fighter looking to make his mark on the international stage. This clash between Sangram’s seasoned international experience and Monteiro’s youthful enthusiasm is one of the most intriguing bouts on the SFH 28 card. While Monteiro represents the next generation of European MMA talent, Sangram brings the experience and physical strength that only comes from years of competing at the top level in both wrestling and the cage.
