Great Northern, Kerteminde (Denmark), Aug 15 (PTI) Yuvraj Sandhu and Shubhankar Sharma missed the cut at the Danish Golf Championship as their struggles on the DP World Tour continued, here on Saturday.
Sandhu carded rounds of 72 and 71 to finish one shot outside the cut line, marking his fourth consecutive missed cut.
Sharma on the other hand made just one cut on the DP World Tour since the first week of March — at the Turkish Airlines Open, where he finished tied 65th.
The Indian duo will look to turn things around at next week’s Nexo Championship.
At the top, Cameron Adam and Antoine Rozner both fired course records on Friday to share the lead heading into the weekend.
Frenchman Felix Mory had set the course mark with a 65 in the opening round, but compatriot Rozner bettered it with a 64 on Friday to take the target to 11-under.
The three-time DP World Tour winner looked set to lead outright after 36 holes before Scot Adam birdied the par-three 18th to card a nine-under 63 and join Rozner at the top.
Scotland’s Ewen Ferguson was third on 10-under, one shot ahead of Julian Perico, who became the first Peruvian to make the cut in a DP World Tour event, England’s Matthew Jordan, Frenchman Romain Langasque, South African Brandon Stone and American Caleb Surratt.
Two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson and Chinese teenager Yanhan Zhou share ninth place on eight under. PTI COR TAP
