Samsung appears to have begun rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta to Galaxy S25 series users in India and Poland, according to a report from known tipster

The update, which covers the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, marks an early start for Samsung’s next major software cycle-especially when compared to last year’s One UI 7 beta, which didn’t arrive until December.
Vats shared screenshots of the beta rollout on X (formerly Twitter), noting that the update is now accessible through the Samsung Members app for users in the supported regions.
How to Access the Beta
To try out One UI 8 on the Galaxy S25 series, users in India and Poland can navigate to the Samsung Members app:
- Open the app and look for the One UI 8 beta banner or check the megaphone inbox icon.
- Tap ‘Join Now’ and scroll to the FAQ section.
- Select ‘Enrol’, accept the terms, and proceed.
- You’ll receive a system update prompt if your device is eligible.
As always, users are advised to back up their data before installing beta software, which may contain bugs or instability.
What’s New in One UI 8 Beta?
The One UI 8 beta introduces several AI-powered upgrades as part of Samsung’s ongoing Galaxy AI initiative. Key features include:
- Context-aware Galaxy AI, which reads what’s on your screen or in your camera view to offer intelligent suggestions.
- A new Now Bar and Now Brief panel with proactive prompts based on user activity.
