While Samsung is yet to confirm details about the upcoming Galaxy A series phones, the Galaxy A57 5G recently passed through Chinese certification site TENAA, giving us an in-depth look into its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy A57 Specifications (Expected)
The listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A57 will be powered by a new Exynos 1680 SoC with a 1 (2.91GHz) + 4 (2.60GHz) + 3 (1.95GHz)-core layout. Moreover, the chip will also house Samsung’s Xclipse 550 GPU. The phone will come with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The Galaxy A57 will also sport a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is also expected to run on Android 16 with the latest One UI skin on top. Samsung upcoming mid-ranger is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support.
For optics, the Galaxy A57 5G will feature a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a third 5MP shooter, presumably for macro shots. Up front, the smartphone will likely house a 12MP selfie camera.
The certification site also lists the weight of the Galaxy A57 as 182 grams and notes that it will measure 6.9mm thick. The handset will have the same camera layout as the Galaxy A56 and feature a metal frame. The Galaxy A57 is also touted to pack dual stereo speakers and optical in-display fingerprint reader.
Samsung Galaxy A57 India Launch
The Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 are expected to launch in India and globally some time next month. The Galaxy A57 price in India will likely start from under Rs 45,000, while the Galaxy A37 5G will debut in the sub-35K segment.
