Samarth Uttar Pradesh @2047: Big suggestions received on Sonbhadra tourism, Badaun digital governance and Gautam Buddha Nagar health improvement.

Yogi government’s “Samarth Uttar Pradesh-Developed Uttar Pradesh @2047” campaign received more than 93.7 lakh feedbacks. Suggestions related to tourism in Sonbhadra, digital governance in Budaun and health improvement in Gautam Buddha Nagar were prominent. Extensive discussions are going on in 75 districts.

Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is working in mission mode to make the state a developed state by 2047 under the “Samarth Uttar Pradesh, Vikas Uttar Pradesh @2047—Centenary Festival of Prosperity Mahabhiyan”. For this, nodal officers and enlightened people visited 75 districts and took feedback on Vikas Yatra from students, teachers, entrepreneurs, farmers, social organizations, media and general public. A detailed discussion was also held on the achievements of 8 years and future roadmap.

Sonbhadra, the energy capital of India: a new direction for tourism development.

Nishant Verma from Sonbhadra suggested that this district can become a big center of eco and cultural tourism by 2047. Main features of Sonbhadra-

  • Salkhan Fossil Park (1400 million years old fossils)
  • Lakhaniya Dari Falls
  • Rihand Dam
  • Vijaygarh Fort

These destinations open up huge potential for integrated tourism circuits. By improving road and rail connectivity under PM Gati Shakti, 12–15% annual tourist growth is possible by 2030. Target: 5–6 million tourists per year by 2047.

New livelihoods will be created by promoting eco-tourism, adventure sports, cultural programs and tribal handicrafts. With heritage conservation and community participation, Sonbhadra can become the top tourism gateway of Eastern UP and contribute to India’s estimated $1 trillion tourism economy.

Badaun’s suggestion: Digital governance will change the future of the state

Akshat Kumar Singh of Badaun suggested that strong IT infrastructure is necessary to fulfill the vision of 2047. Main suggestions-

  • Strengthening e-governance platform
  • Cloud systems, AI based analytics and secure digital records
  • Measures to reduce corruption and manual delays
  • Affordable internet in rural and semi-urban areas
  • Digital Literacy Program
  • Centralized Data Management for Government Departments
  • cyber security priority
  • Promotion of digital payments and mobile apps
  • Public-Private Partnership in IT Sector

These steps will make governance more transparent, faster and citizen-centric, thereby promoting long-term development.

Gautam Buddha Nagar’s suggestion: Improvement in health services will lead to development

Babli Prajapati from Gautam Buddha Nagar presented suggestions on health services. Main points-

  • Special emphasis on preventive and community medicine
  • Control of fees for medical education in private and deemed universities.
  • Making Ayurvedic education accessible
  • Upgradation of government AYUSH dispensaries and hospitals
  • Establishment of new AYUSH centers
  • AYUSH facilities in Primary Health Center (PHC), CHC and District Hospitals
  • Expansion of AYUSH public health program
  • Training programmes, workshops and seminars for teachers and professionals

With these efforts, the general public will be able to get better and accessible health facilities through AYUSH services.

A total of 9,374,946 feedbacks have been received so far for “Samarth Uttar Pradesh-Vikasit Uttar Pradesh @2047”. Category wise details-
