Several Telugu and Hindi films are hitting theaters this Friday, creating a crowded box-office race.
While Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer “Cocktail 2” is one of the notable releases, Samantha’s comeback film “Maa Inti Bangaram” is generating stronger traction in advance bookings.
The film is currently leading the race in both the domestic market and North America.
In the United States, “Maa Inti Bangaram” is reportedly far ahead of “Cocktail 2” in pre-sales, putting it on track to register the biggest opening of Samantha’s career.
Apart from these two films, “Transfer Trimurthulu”, “Vanda Devullu”, “Deewana”, and “Balan” are also arriving in theaters this weekend.
Among them, “Deewana” is the only other film that has managed to create some buzz. Starring Harshith Reddy and Smeha in the lead roles, the romantic drama has attracted attention through its promotional campaign.
The remaining releases have struggled to generate noticeable excitement among audiences.
