Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru are soon going to be parents. The couple, who reportedly tied the knot in December, recently confirmed the happy news with fans. Sam initially kept her pregnancy private and was seen subtly showcasing her baby bump during an outing in Mumbai. While a source close to her confirmed the development, the Maa Inti Bangaaram actress continued to stay quiet for some time before finally announcing her pregnancy at the success event of her latest film and revealing that she will be taking maternity leave. Since then, the internet has been buzzing over the mom-to-be’s radiant glow.

The couple stepped out together on Saturday (June 27). They were spotted at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

Samantha-Raj celebrate Maa Inti Bangaaram success
Sam and Raj are currently basking in the success of their latest collaboration, The film’s story and screenplay were written by Raj, who also co-produced it along with Vasanth Maringanti and Prahas Boppudi. Starring Samantha in the lead, the movie has been received well by audiences and has reportedly earned over Rs 73 crore at the box office.
The story follows Swarna, also known as Jhansi, a former assassin who wants to leave her violent past behind and start afresh. After marrying into a traditional joint family, she finds it difficult to adjust as she is expected to follow strict household roles and cultural duties. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Diganth Manchale.
Recently, Raj announced that the sequel is already on the cards. At an event, he said that he has an interesting idea for the second instalment. He added, “The same team will work on it. For the first time, I am inspired to make another part. It will have double the fun and double the excitement. I will come back and tell you more about it later.”
isn’t Sam and Raj’s first project together. They have previously worked on The Family Man Season 2, Citadel: Honey Bunny, and Subham.
The couple grew close while working together and tied the knot at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore in December 2025.
