Salman Khan-starrer Maatrubhumi was slated to release in April this year, but the movie was postponed, and it is yet to see the light of day. The Apoorva Lakhia directorial was earlier titled Battle Of Galwan, as reportedly it is based on the India-China conflict which took place at the Galwan Valley in 2020. However, according to reports, the film had to undergo changes, and even the title was changed to Maatrubhumi. Some reports suggested that the film was also stuck as it didn’t receive a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
