Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s longtime bodyguard, Shera aka Gurmeet Singh Jolly, has a son named Abir Singh, who is set to make his Bollywood debut. Abir’s debut has been in the works for years, but there was never a clear update about the project. Finally, a series of online reports claim that Abir will make his debut with a film titled Tarzan.
What will be Shera’s son’s Bollywood debut?
According to a report by Filmfare, Tarzan, which also stars Sooraj Pancholi, will mark Abir’s acting debut. There are currently limited details available about the project, and it remains unclear whether Salman will produce the film or be a part of it.
Reports about Salman Khan planning to launch Shera’s son first emerged in 2022. At the time, it was claimed that the superstar was personally involved in shaping Abir Singh’s debut project.
The latest report has once again put Abir’s Bollywood debut plans in the spotlight. He is reportedly set to make his debut with Tarzan, although details about the director, production banner and other cast members are yet to be revealed.

Over the years, Salman Khan has launched several actors in Bollywood and played a crucial role in their journeys in the industry. Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut with Dabangg, while Zarine Khan was introduced in Veer. Daisy Shah made her Bollywood debut as the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in Jai Ho, while Saiee Manjrekar marked her entry into Hindi cinema with Dabangg 3.
What’s next for Salman Khan?
Coming to Salman Khan has Maatrubhumi and and SVC63 in his pipeline. Maatrubhumi is helmed by Apoorva Lakhia and was suppose to hit big screens on April this year however release was subsequently postponed. Meanwhile, no new dates have been announced.
Meanwhile, SVC63 is currently in production. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film features Nayanthara as the female lead and is slated for an Eid release next year.
