Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 19 Fee Revealed; Bhaijaan To Charge THIS Whopping Amount For 1st Three Weeks

After much anticipation, the countdown has officially begun for Bigg Boss 19! The much-loved reality TV show is scheduled to premiere on August 24. Ahead of the show’s grand premiere, new details are emerging about what promises to be one of the most talked-about seasons of the reality show yet.

According to reports, this edition will be the longest season in the show’s history, spanning five months, and will adopt a digital-first format. A major point of buzz this season is the rumoured fee of host Salman Khan.

Salman Khan’s fee for Bigg Boss 19

According to multiple reports, Bhaijaan will be paid between Rs 120 to 150 crores for hosting duties. With 15 weeks under his belt, this translates to around Rs 8 to 10 crores per weekend. Unlike previous seasons, Bigg Boss 19 will first stream on JioHotstar, with a delayed telecast on Colors TV the same day. As such, it’s being seen as a continuation of the OTT version rather than a traditional TV season.

Interestingly, Salman’s fee this year is notably lower than his past television seasons. For Bigg Boss 18, he reportedly earned Rs 250 crores, and Rs 200 crores for Bigg Boss 17. However, his pay for Bigg Boss OTT 2 stood at Rs 96 crores, which this season surpasses, despite the presence of other co-hosts.

Salman to handover hosting duties to…

After hosting the first three months, Salman is expected to hand over the reins to guest hosts for the remaining two months. Names like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor are being considered. The show’s promo, shot on July 21, is themed around politics-possibly giving a glimpse of what the tone of the season will be.

Salman begins shooting in Mumbai

Salman began filming for Bigg Boss 19 on Friday, August 22, in Mumbai. Dressed in an all-black outfit, complete with a sharp moustache and styled hair, the actor looked as charismatic as ever. He posed confidently for the cameras, effortlessly reminding everyone why he remains the heart and soul of the show.

Despite a packed schedule shooting for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan, Salman has seamlessly stepped into his hosting role once again, bringing his signature charm and energy to the screen.
