Salman Khan Shares Cryptic Note on Happiness and Contentment After Ganpati Darshan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has sparked curiosity with a cryptic social media post about happiness, expectations and contentment, shortly after attending Rahul Karnail’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Salman shared a reel featuring a scenic mountain backdrop and a message reflecting on how people’s understanding of happiness can change after they achieve something they once desired.

The message read, “Jab thoda mila, toh khush tha, ab zyada mila, toh dukhi kyun? Jo chahiye tha kal mujhe, aaj mila toh zaroori kyun?” It translates to: “When I had a little, I was happy, so why am I sad now that I have more? What I wanted yesterday, why does it seem unnecessary now that I have it today?”

The actor did not indicate what prompted him to share the thought or whether it was connected to any specific personal or professional development.

The post came soon after Salman attended Ganesh Chaturthi festivities, where he was seen arriving for the celebrations and posing for photographers before joining his family for Ganpati darshan.

For the occasion, Salman opted for a casual festive look, wearing a light blue checked or striped shirt with light blue-and-white denim and a bandana covering his head. Pictures and videos from the gathering showed members of the Khan family coming together for the celebrations, with Salman also seen spending time with children.

Salman has regularly participated in Ganpati celebrations over the years, including aarti and visarjan. The festival remains a family tradition at the Khan residence.

The family’s celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi reflects its multi-faith background. Salman’s mother, Salma Khan, was born Sushila Charak into a Maharashtrian Hindu family, while his father, Salim Khan, is Muslim. The family has over the years been known for observing festivals associated with different religious traditions.
