Salman Khan Looking After Body Double Parvez Kazi Who Had Heart Surgery; Actor To Do Own Stunts For Monster – Report

Actor Salman Khan has come forward to help his longtime body double Parvez Kazi after the stunt performer fell ill and underwent minor heart surgery. Kazi’s manager has dismissed reports that he suffered a heart attack, saying he is making a good recovery. This comes days after reports that Salman is set to perform his own stunts in his upcoming film with Nayanthara, produced by Dil Raju, reportedly titled Monster. It is being made as a pan-India action project and is currently expected to release during Eid 2027. The first schedule was reportedly completed in Mumbai, while the second schedule is currently underway.

According to India Today, Kazi’s manager, Piyush, explained the situation and shared a health update. He said the health scare had happened on August 6 when Kazi was at home. He started feeling unwell and had a medical check-up. Following a series of tests, he was admitted to a hospital, and doctors performed minor heart surgery.

Piyush told the publication that the actor was “right there with us” today and made sure personally that Kazi’s treatment was taken care of. “Salman sir treats Parvez sir like a younger brother and helped immediately,” the manager said.

Piyush added that Kazi was fine now and has been advised to rest for a few days before resuming work.

Manager refutes reports of heart attack

The development initially led to reports that Kazi suffered a heart attack while working on Salman and Nayanthara’s upcoming action film. But those reports have been flatly denied by his manager. Kazi fell ill and was taken for a medical examination, where tests led to him being hospitalised and having minor surgery.

The clarification also comes after reports that the production team was reworking its action schedule in the wake of Kazi’s absence.

Salman might do more of his own stunts

With Kazi temporarily unavailable, Salman is reportedly taking a more hands-on approach to the film’s action schedule. The actor is expected to do some of the scenes that would normally require his body double.

The makers are also reportedly taking extra precautions while planning the upcoming stunts. The production is said to feature several large-scale action sequences, so safety has been a priority as the team continues to shoot.
