Salman Khan celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with parents and siblings, video of aarti goes VIRAL

New Delhi: Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 was marked with grandeur by Salman Khan and his family. The 60-year-old actor, who is known for hosting festive celebrations at his home, was seen performing aarti with his parents, Salma and Salim Khan, along with his siblings and extended family.

The celebration took place at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence, which has become a regular venue for the Khan family’s Ganesh Chaturthi puja every year.

A video from the event was shared by Salman himself on X (formerly Twitter). The short clip opened with a glimpse of the beautifully adorned Ganpati idol, covered in fresh flowers and placed at the centre of the living space. Salma Khan was the first to perform the aarti, followed by veteran writer-lyricist Salim Khan. Salman joined next, dressed in a classic black shirt paired with beige trousers, as a devotional Ganapati song played in the background.

The ritual then continued with the rest of the Khan family. Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Alvira Khan, and Atul Agnihotri were all seen participating in the puja. Younger members of the family, including Alizeh Agnihotri, Ayaan Agnihotri, Ahil Sharma, and Ayat Sharma, also took part in the aarti. Host Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband, actor Aayush Sharma, were spotted leading the family gathering with warmth and devotion.

The festivities extended beyond the immediate family. Actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza attended the puja with their children. The video ended with a closer look at the Ganpati idol, though Salman chose not to add a caption to the clip.
