Bollywood superstar Salman Khan extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, addressing him as “Narendra Bhai” as the Prime Minister turned 76.
Taking to X, Salman wrote, “Janam Din Mubarak Ho Honourable P M Sahab, Wish you a very Happy Birthday, Narendra Bhai Modi. Jai Hind. @narendramodi.”
Salman had also wished Modi on his 75th birthday last year, writing, “Wishing our Hon Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi a very happy birthday.”
Shah Rukh Khan also extended his greetings to the Prime Minister. Addressing him as “Honourable PM”, the actor wished Modi good health, happiness and fulfilment, while writing on X, “May you always carry the strength and positivity to inspire the nation.”
Several other film personalities, including Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini, Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and A.R. Rahman, also shared birthday messages for Modi.
Hema Malini, who represents Mathura in the Lok Sabha, extended her wishes and said people in her constituency joined the country in wishing the Prime Minister a long, healthy and happy life.
Akshay Kumar also shared a birthday message, urging people to mark the occasion through acts of service and helping those in need.
Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He became Prime Minister in May 2014, was re-elected in 2019 and took oath for a third consecutive term in 2024.
