Salman Khan and Nayanthara’s actioner to have Eid 2027 release – Watch video

New Delhi: The much-anticipated upcoming movie of Salman Khan, along with Nayanthara has now officially gone on floors. The team of the film, tentatively titled SCV63, began with a traditional muhurtham ceremony before kick-starting the shoot in Mumbai. The high-octane actioner marks the first time collaboration between Salman Khan and Nayanthara.

Salman Khan announces Eid release

On Friday (April 24), Salman Khan shared a video on Instagram where he and Nayanthara are seen arriving in style as they twin in black. After the muhuruth ceremony on the set of the film in Mumbai as they kick-start the shoot for the highly-awaited film.

In the post, the superstar announced that the film is slated to have a Eid 2027 release. However, exact date was not revealed. Taking to Instagram, Salman wrote in the caption, “Thoda durr ki sochna chahiye, That’s why announced Eid….. Don’t worry iss wali ka bhi bataenge, when the time is right……Patience, thoda sa sabar……Mere Jitna he intezar karna padega,Baherhaal jo apka haal hai wo hi mera bhi haal hai…. haha (People should think a little ahead, that’s why Eid was announced…Don’t worry, we’ll reveal the other one too when the time is right…Patience, just a little patience…You’ll have to wait just as long as I am…Anyway, the way you’re feeling right now, I’m feeling the same too… haha.)”

About the Salman-Nayanthara movie

The film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. According to reports, a grand set has been constructed in Mumbai for a month-long schedule where major action sequences and key scenes are being filmed.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan also has patriotic war drama Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The movie also stars Chitrangada Singh. Earlier, the movie was titled Battle of Galwan.
