With her girl-next door looks and resonating performance in Saiyaara, Aneet Padda has become the new B-town favourite. The young starlet, who has been deliberately kept away from the limelight, along with Ahaan Panday, has gained immense popularity since the release of the Mohit Suri film and now, people are more eager than ever to know more about her.
In her first interview post the blockbuster success of Saiyaara, Aneet recalled her struggles. She opened up about recording auditions while keeping it a secret from her mom and dad. She also talked about the financial challenges her parents faced. Aneet told The Hollywood Reporter India, “I always wanted to act. I would be recording auditions and locking my door, telling my parents I was doing homework. I knew I’d have to do this on my own because my parents didn’t have enough money to take me to Mumbai to audition.”
Further, speaking about what affects her, she said, “My mom, my dad, my friends – if they had anything to say, that would probably affect me. Anybody else, I really don’t care.”
Meanwhile, as per reports, Aneet has bagged her second movie with YRF, a love story directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baaraat fame.
