‘Saiyaara’ finally entered the Rs 300 crore club at the Indian box office after beating other new Bollywood releases. The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda-starrer became the biggest Hindi film starring debutants, and the only one headlined by fresh faces in the coveted club.
The YRF biggie witnessed a drop in its collection in the third weekend, but it was nothing unexpected, given the sharing of screens by ‘Son of Sardaar 2’, ‘Dhadak 2’ and ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’.

Directed by Mohit Suri, the film collected around Rs 2.50 crore nett on its 18th day, taking the 18-day business to Rs 302.25 crore.
The film has been performing smoothly so far. However, with a , purely on the basis of word-of-mouth. The film crossed the benchmark of Rs 100 crore on Tuesday.
It will be interesting to see how far ‘Saiyaara’ goes until ‘War 2’ hits the screen during Independence Day.
