Saints bless CM Dhami, call him ‘Devbhoomi’s Religious Protector’ amid Uttarakhand’s silver jubilee celebrations

Dehradun: The Chief Minister’s residence in Dehradun turned into a centre of spiritual energy and cultural pride as saints from across the country gathered to celebrate Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee year.

The saint community blessed Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and praised his dedication towards protecting the state’s cultural heritage, spiritual values, and social harmony.

Prominent religious leaders attended the event

Prominent religious leaders and saints including Jagadguru Shankaracharya Rajrajeshwar Maharaj, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Kailashananda Giri Ji, Swami Avdheshanand Giri Ji of Junapeeth, Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji of Parmarth Niketan, Akhara Parishad President Swami Ravindrapuri Maharaj, Bageshwar Dham Peethadhiswar Pt. Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, Patanjali’s Acharya Balkrishna, spiritual speaker Jaya Kishori, and poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas attended the event.

State is achieving new milestones in spiritual growth

The saints lauded the Dhami government’s continuous efforts to preserve Uttarakhand’s spiritual traditions and its commitment to balanced development. They said that under Chief Minister Dhami’s leadership, the state is achieving new milestones in spiritual growth, cultural revival, and social progress. The saint community blessed him and honoured him with the title of “Dharma-Sarakshak of Devbhoomi” (Religious Protector of the Land of Gods).

The gathering was filled with blessings, goodwill, and appreciation for the Chief Minister’s vision. The saints noted that the government’s policies on religious site conservation, promotion of spiritual tourism, and protection of cultural identity have given Uttarakhand a unique place on the national map.

Saints promised their full support for the Haridwar Kumbh

The saints also expressed their full support for the upcoming Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2027, calling it a grand confluence of Sanatan tradition, Indian culture, and global spirituality. They assured the Chief Minister that the entire saint community will work hand in hand with the government to make Kumbh 2027 a world-class and historic event.

They praised the government’s preparations in areas such as infrastructure, transportation, security, and cleanliness. The saints said that these initiatives will strengthen Haridwar’s status as a global centre of spiritual heritage.

Concluding the event, all the saints and spiritual leaders offered blessings to Chief Minister Dhami and conveyed good wishes for the prosperity and spiritual progress of the people of Uttarakhand.
