Ayodhya. On the auspicious occasion of Shukla Paksha Panchami of Margashirsha month, i.e. Vivah Panchami, Ayodhya Dham and the whole world witnessed the historic moment of completion of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The saffron flag hoisting ceremony was held on the peak of the temple on Tuesday. On this occasion, RSS Sir Sanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that this day is very meaningful and a symbol of completion for all of us.

Dr. Bhagwat said – the penance of hundreds of ascetics was completed today

He said that over the years many saints, workers and Ram devotees dedicated everything for the construction of the temple. Many people also pledged their lives for this campaign. Today his soul of sacrifice will be satisfied. He especially remembered Ashok Singhal, Mahant Ramchandra Das, Dalmiya ji and many saints. Bhagwat said that those who have left this world had also left with the same wish that a grand Ram temple would definitely be built, which has come true today.

Temple construction completed with flag hoisting and classical process

Sir Sanghchalak said that the classical process of temple construction has been completed with full rituals and the saffron flag has been installed on the peak. This day has become a day of perfection and gratitude in history. This inspires us to renew our resolve.

Saffron flag – symbol of religion, sacrifice and ideal life

According to Dr. Bhagwat, this saffron flag of Ramrajya is once again seated at its highest place in Ayodhya. He said that just as the flag took time to reach the peak, similarly the construction of the temple is also the result of patience and determination. He said that this saffron color is a symbol of religion, truth, sacrifice and penance.

Symbols related to Raghukul tradition and lessons learned from them

He told that the symbol of ‘Kovidar’ on the flag is related to the tradition of Raghukul. This tree is like Kachnar, which stands in the sun and provides shade to others and shares its fruits with everyone. Similarly, good men also work for the welfare of the society. He said that no matter how adverse the circumstances are, it is our duty to follow the path of religion.

Sun God and Omkar – symbols of religion and truth

Referring to the symbols of Sun God’s chariot, Bhagwat said that his wheel, chariot and reins symbolically show that one should keep moving forward even in difficult circumstances. He said that ‘Omkar’ represents the truth and India has to play the role of spreading this spiritual power to the world.

India has to be made the guide of the world

Sir Sanghchalak said that it is the responsibility of India to create such a character from which the world will learn the right direction to live life. He said that “all human beings on earth should learn the wisdom of life from the conduct of Indians” – this is the historical role of India. He said that Shri Ram Lalla is now seated, and taking inspiration from this we have to make India a center of religion, knowledge and welfare.

Temple more grand than dreams – Bhagwat’s emotional message

At the end of the ceremony, he said that Ramdas Swami’s words – “Today a more beautiful temple has been built than what I had dreamed of” – has now come true. He congratulated all Sanatan Dharma devotees and countrymen and said that this occasion should awaken the spirit of tenacity, duty and dedication within us.
