Patna: Congress leader Sachin Pilot said on Wednesday that the people of Bihar want change and expressed confidence that his party will form the government with an absolute majority in the upcoming assembly elections, together with colleagues. Prior to the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) in Patna, he said that the party will contest elections with full force.

Sachin Pilot said, “Bihar is an important state in the politics of the country. I am happy that the CWC meeting is taking place here after a long time … Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi will attend this meeting. The meeting will discuss Bihar assembly elections. We are going to contest elections with full force. People of Bihar want change, and we will form government with full majority.”

When asked about the Chief Minister’s face, Pilot said that the party is united for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections 2025 and the decision on the Chief Minister’s face will be taken after the announcement of the election. Pilot said, “We are fighting elections together. Let the election be announced. All other information will be given after that.”

The meeting included Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Rajesh Ram, Bihar in -charge Krishna Allavaru and Congress Legislature Party leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan and others including others.
