Thiruvananthapuram: A special investigation team (SIT) appointed by the Kerala High Court questioned United Democratic Front (UDF) convenor and Congress MP Adoor Prakash on Thursday in connection with the Sabarimala gold theft case. The questioning took place at the Kerala Police Crime Branch headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram.
Officials said Prakash was summoned after photographs allegedly showing him with the prime accused, Unnikrishnan Potti, surfaced in the public domain. Potti, who has been released on statutory bail, was also present at the Crime Branch office as part of the ongoing investigation.
