Saba Azad has been rumoured to be in a relationship with Hrithik Roshan. They have neither denied nor confirmed their love affair in public.
Earlier this year, Saba hit back at a troll who said Hrithik’s girlfriend doesn’t need to work. Now, in an interview, the Songs Of Paradise actress has reacted to the above-mentioned comment. In Saba’s opinion, it is deep-seated s**ism that people have.
Saba Azad slams troll
Speaking to News18, Saba opened up about slamming such trolls on public platform and the absolute ‘s**ism’ their comment carry. “The moment you’re standing next to a man, your identity will get diluted no matter what. It’s tragic and it’s a deep-seated sexism that most people have, even the most progressive ones. We all need to put food on our table. What do you think is happening here? (laughs),” said Saba.
The actress further expressed disappointment over co-star Soni Razdan, bearing the brunt of being known as Mahesh Bhatt’s wife. “It’s ennui to me because Soni is an absolute legend. Look at her repertoire of films! She has done Mandi, Daddy, Party. The films that she has done are incredible. She was right in the thick of it when the new wave of Indian cinema was going on. To me, it’s just bizarre that she wouldn’t be recognised as an entity of her own,” she added.
Saba Azad’s work front
On the work front, Saba was recently seen in Danish Renzu’s Songs of Paradise. Co-starring Soni Razdan, Sheeba Chadha, Zain Khan Durrani, and others, the film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 29, 2025.
Earlier this year, the actress was also seen in the web series Crime Beat, which streams on ZEE5. Apart from these projects, Saba is known for doing Who’s Your Gynac, Rocket Boys, and more.
