New Zealand has made it to the final of the T20 World Cup for the second time. Earlier, the Kiwi team had reached the final for the first time in 2021. In the match played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on March 4, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, South Africa scored 169 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. In response, New Zealand achieved the target of 170 runs by losing one wicket in just 12.5 overs.

Marco Jansen scored the highest score of 55 runs for South Africa.
