A video of a Russian woman who is trekking in Chandrashila, Uttarakhand, is going viral on social media, in which she is appealing to Indians not to throw garbage. The woman also said that we should learn to love and respect nature.
It is often a habit of us Indians to throw garbage anywhere. Be it any public place, people throw away plastic bags, paper and used bottles. Foreigners visiting India often face a lot of problems due to this. Now, a video of a Russian woman is going viral on social media, in which she is appealing to tourists not to throw garbage and respect the natural beauty of India.
A Russian woman trekking on Chandrashila in Uttarakhand is trending on social media. A user named @tanya_in_india, who recently visited Chopta, Tungnath and Chandrashila, has shared this video on her Instagram post. Chandrashila is a favorite place for both Hindu pilgrims and nature lovers. But the garbage spread at these places where thousands of people visit every day is a very disappointing sight. Many times, garbage is seen spread till the top of the peak.
“We only had one bag, so we collected as much trash as we could,” he wrote in the post. Later, after coming down the mountain, they disposed of the waste properly. The woman also informed the local staff present at the base about this. He further wrote, “Please do not throw garbage in the mountains. Respect the place you come to. If you can help clean it, it is a great deed.” Many people commented on this post. Many stressed the need to protect public places and nature from littering.
