Women of six districts are collecting and selling about four and a half lakh liters of milk every day under the organized dairy model. This model has increased cash flow in the villages and given a strong base to the dairy sector. Women associated with Samantha Milk Producer Company are now earning regular income. Transparent payment system and organized network have made dairying a dependable livelihood. Women who were earlier limited to household chores are now successfully fulfilling the financial responsibilities of the family.
Women Empowerment: 14,500 became ‘Lakhpati Didi’
14,500 women have become ‘Lakhpati Didi’ by joining the dairy network. This is not just an individual achievement but a symbol of rural women leadership.
