He says that Rupali Chakankar was such a great devotee of the alleged astrologer that once under his influence, she even cut off one of her fingers. Andhare also showed some pictures, in which Rupali Chakankar’s ring finger was clearly visible with a bandage on it.

In one video, she is seen feeding him, while in another clip she is seen walking with him carrying an umbrella. Not only this, in a video Rupali is seen washing Baba’s feet. In another video he compared Kharat with Lord Vitthal. After all these videos surfaced, the questions regarding his role have become deeper.
Who is Rupali Chakankar?
Rupali Chakankar is a well-known woman leader and social worker from Maharashtra. He belongs to Pune city and completed his early education from there. She became active in social and political activities during her higher education. She was associated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) for a long time. However, after her name surfaced in the Ashok Kharat case, Rupali resigned from the post of chairperson of Maharashtra Women’s Commission.
Uddhav Thackeray’s tough stance after resignation
After the resignation of Rupali Chakankar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray took a strong stance on the issue. He said that strict action should also be taken against ‘fraudulent disciples’ who support ‘fraudulent babas’ like Ashok Kharat. Referring to this entire matter, Thackeray expressed serious concern over the situation in Maharashtra.
